Swyre Head is the highest point of the Purbeck Hills and the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset , England .
It bears the same name as Swyre Head on the Jurassic Coast . The two Swyre Heads are about 18 kilometers apart.

The Swyre Head of the Purbeck Hills is about 2 kilometers southwest of the village of Kingston , about 5 kilometers south of Corfe Castle and Corfe Castle and 8 kilometers west of Swanage .
Swyre Head is set back about half a mile from the coast, off the South West Coast Path . However, it can be easily reached from the villages of Kingston and Kimmeridge .
At Swyre Head there is a trigonometric point 203 meters high, but a tumulus (burial mound), now completely green, forms the highest point at 208 meters above sea level.
