Törring is a district of Tittmoning in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein .
history
The church village is first mentioned as "Torringen" in the late 8th century in the Breves Notitiae . In 976 a county was named Törring. The Toerring family is first mentioned in a document around 1120/1130. In 1328 the Archbishop of Salzburg, Friedrich III. the Toerringern the court rights over Törring and Tengling . The Törring'sche Commun patrimonial court of Törring and Tengling , established in 1817/18 from Hofmark, was repealed in 1848 . The rural community of Törring, founded with the municipal edict of 1818, was incorporated into Tittmoning on May 1, 1978.
