Turkish Library (Mayer & Müller, Berlin)

The Turkish Library is an orientalist book series of annotated transmissions of Turkish literature that was published in Leipzig by Mayer & Müller. A total of 26 volumes were published. The first volume in the series was published in 1904, the last in 1929.

The editor of the series was Georg Jacob , and later co-editor was Rudolf Tschudi , Professor of Oriental Studies in Basel . Other well-known scholars have contributed to it.

Some works, e.g. B. the Istambolda bir sene (One Year in Constantinople) by Mehmed Tewfik (1843-1893), are divided into several volumes.
