Thomas Joseph "TJ" Fox (born June 11, 1984 in Oswego , New York ) is an American ice hockey player .

Career

Fox began his career in 2002 in the United States Hockey League , a US junior league, where he first played for the Green Bay Gamblers. He left after only one season and moved to Chicago Steel in the summer of 2003 within the league. The American played for Steel until the summer of 2005 before he went to Union College to begin his studies. At the same time he joined the university team for two years in the National Collegiate Athletic Association .

After completion of the college season 2006/07 signed the ungedraftete striker as a free agent a contract for the 2007/08 season in the organization of the NHL - Franchise of the San Jose Sharks , which it in their American Hockey League - the farm team , the Worcester Sharks , used. After his expiring contract was not extended in the summer of 2009, the Wheeling Nailers from the ECHL signed him .

He played the 2010/11 season in Germany with the Hannover Indians in the 2nd Bundesliga and returned to America in August 2011. There he signed for the Texas Brahmas in the Central Hockey League. In the spring of 2012, the club was then taken over by a Fort Worth-based investment group and he switched to the successor club.

In December 2012 he returned to Germany to the Eispiraten Crimmitschau for 4 Try Out games . After the agreed try-out, the contract was terminated on December 27, 2012.
