Stefanie Koch

Stefanie "Steffi" Koch (born October 13, 1981 in Anger ) is a German ski mountaineer and alpine athlete. She was a member of the German national ski mountaineering team .

biography

Koch grew up on his parents' farm together with three siblings and trained as an administrative clerk. Already in her youth she devoted herself to mountain biking and triathlon . She found her way to ski touring racing through her friend Stefan Klinger . In 2006 she was part of the first German team in the Patrouille des Glaciers to achieve one of the top three places in this traditional race.

  • 2007:
    • 1st place German championship ski mountaineering single
    • 2nd place at the Mountain Attack Tour women, Saalbach
    • 2nd place Sellaronda Skimarathon (with Graßl)
    • 3rd place at the Trofeo Mezzalama with Graßl and Treimer
    • 4th place in the women's relay (with Graßl, Treimer) at the European Championships in France
    • 4th place team women (with Graßl) at the European Championships in France
    • 10th place at the European Ski Mountaineering Championship, combined ranking
  • 2008:
    • 1st place German championship ski mountaineering team
    • 2nd place German championship ski mountaineering single
    • 2nd place German Championship Vertical Race
    • 2nd place at the Rofan Xtreme
    • 5th place Patrouille des Glaciers (together with Graßl and Treimer)
    • 6th place world championship ski mountaineering team (together with Graßl)
    • 7th place at the Pierra Menta with Graßl
    • 9th place in the World Ski Mountaineering Championship
