Judith Graßl

Judith Graßl (born April 6, 1968 in Berchtesgaden ) is a German ski mountaineer . She is a member of the German national ski mountaineering team .

Life

Graßl started climbing and many other sports at a young age. In the young team of the German Alpine Club she learned to climb , went on high mountain tours , climbed via ferratas and went on ski tours. She joined the Skiclub Ramsau eV , did judo , cross-country skiing , triathlon and rode a racing bike and mountain bike . Professionally, she works for an optician. In 2004 she was German champion . In 2006 she recovered after an operation on the cruciate ligament and is one of the most successful German ski mountaineers. In 2006 she was part of the first German team in the Patrouille des Glaciers to achieve one of the top three places in this traditional race.

She is married to the ski mountaineer Franz Graßl , with whom she has two children and lives in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden .
