The TC Blau-Weiss Neuss is a tennis club located in the Neuss stadium district. The men's team has been playing their home games in the 1st Bundesliga since 1979 in the Jahn Stadium there - just like the other teams in the club.

Club history

After the military government approved sports clubs again at the end of February 1946 , the TC Blau-Weiss Neuss was founded on March 13, 1946. After its ten-year existence, the club moved to the Jahnstadion and built its first clubhouse there .

In September 1978 the men's team was promoted to the first tennis league and ended the first season as German runner-up. From 1983 the TC became German champions seven times in a row. Between June 30th and July 4th, Blau-Weiss Neuss hosted the European Champion Clubs' Cup. In 1982 the men's team won the European Cup. In the 2016 season, the men's team relegated TC Blau-Weiss Neuss to the 2nd Bundesliga.
