The Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame is a hall of fame in wrestling , the selected wrestler or employees of Impact Wrestling distinguished and other influential persons from the wrestling business.
history
The TNA President Dixie Carter announced the establishment of this Hall of Fame at the wrestling show Impact Wrestling on May 31, 2012.
It was planned that new members would be introduced one day before the most important major event for the league, Bound for Glory . Sting was accepted as the first wrestler on October 13, 2012 .
In 2014, Team 3D was the first to include two people in the Fall of Fame. On June 27, 2015, Jeff Jarrett was inducted into the Hall of Fame for the first time not before Bound for Glory , but during the show Impact Wrestling . In the same year, on October 3, 2015, for the first time not a wrestler, but a referee in the Hall of Fame with Earl Hebner .
In 2016 the first woman followed with Gail Kim . The event was canceled in 2017 and 2019.
