history
The association was created on January 1st, 2009 through the merger of TV Bocholt von 1867, founded on May 1st, 1867. V. and TV Phönix founded on November 27, 1896, founded 1896 e. V.
In TV Bocholt, which was founded as a gymnastics club in 1867, initially only men could become full members. In 1908 the association opened up to women. The range of sports on offer included floor and apparatus gymnastics , athletics and gymnastics until the 1930s . Fistball was added to the program at the end of the 1930s . In the course of the 20th century, other sports followed, so that the club had 21 departments before the merger with the TV Phönix.
The TV Phoenix founded in 1896 was also founded as a gymnastics club. It was the second oldest club of its kind in Bocholt. After the Second World War , the TV Phönix became a multi-branch club. Initially, the range was expanded to include athletics. At the end of the 1960s and 1970s, tennis , volleyball and handball were added to the range, with badminton , rugby , baseball , gymnastics and children's gymnastics added later.
At the time it was founded, TSV Bocholt had 2558 members, 1806 of whom were members of TV Bocholt and 752 members of TV Phönix.

The club has various departments, including American football , badminton, basketball , guard dance , handball, soccer , rhythmic gymnastics , swimming , dance , tennis and volleyball as well as martial arts , various fitness programs and children's gymnastics .
Dance sports department
The dance sport department of TSV Bocholt (TSA of TSV Bocholt from 1867/1896) has single and formation dances. The department goes back to the dance sport department of TV Bocholt from 1867.
Standard formations
The standard formation of the club is currently dancing (2019/2020 season) in the 1st Bundesliga Standard. The musical theme is "Imagine".
In the 1990s, the then standard formation of TV Bocholt from 1867 danced standard in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 1997/1998 season, there was also a B formation that competed in the Regionalliga West Standard.
From the 1999/2000 season the team danced in the Regional League West Standard and in the Regional League North / West Standard, in the 2007/2008, 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons with two teams. For the 2010/2011 season he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. During the season, however, the team only finished eighth and was relegated back to the regional league. The team danced again in the 2. Bundesliga Standard in the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons, before the team was relegated to the regional league again.
In the 2017/2018 season, the team took first place in the Regionalliga Süd / West Standard. The team also won the promotion tournament that followed and was promoted back to the 2nd Bundesliga standard. In the 2018/2019 season, the team took second place in the 2nd Bundesliga Standard and thus managed direct promotion to the 1st Bundesliga Standard.
The formation's trainers are Thomas Pflewko, Andreas Lippok, Anne Pflewko-Leson and Kurt Findhammer.
Latin formations
A Latin formation last appeared for the club in the 2017/2018 season in the 2nd Bundesliga.
In the 1990s, what was then TV Bocholt from 1867 competed in league competitions in the regional league and the Oberliga West Latin with several Latin formations. In the 1995/1996 and 19096/1997 seasons there were three Latin formations.
The A-Team rose to the 1997/1998 season in the Regional League West Latin, while the B-Team danced in the Regional League West Latin. For the 1999/2000 season there was only one team in the club that competed in the Oberliga West Latin. Then again two teams competed in league competitions, interrupted only in the 2004/2005 season, in which only one A team of the club competed in the regional league West Latin.
From the 2006/2007 season there was only one Latin formation in the club. She danced in the West Latin league until the 2009/2010 season, then in the West Latin regional league. For the 2017/2018 season, the team succeeded in advancing to the 2nd Bundesliga Latin. The 2nd Bundesliga finished the team in seventh place and so relegated. Then it dissolved.
The team's coach was Sascha Pöstgens.
