The TSV Eintracht Hittfeld from 1905 e. V. is a sports club in the town of Hittfeld , located in the Seevetal municipality in the Harburg district in Lower Saxony .

history

The TSV Eintracht Hittfeld from 1905 e. V. was founded in 1905. With the outbreak of the First World War in 1914, only limited gymnastics evenings were held and from 1936 until the end of the Second World War in 1945 there was no gymnastics or sports. In 1945 the association was re-established. In 1958 the multi-purpose hall was opened. In 1965 TSV Eintracht Hittfeld was entered in the association register. In 1970 the TSV welcomed its 500th member and in 1977 the club already had 1,000 members. In 1987 the first edition of the club's news appeared. In 1992 the association received a new statute and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005. In 2008 the handball game community HSG Seevetal was founded with the Turnverein Meckelfeld von 1920 e. V. (TVM). Finally, the new multi-purpose hall was opened in 2012.

The badminton department was founded in 1975. In 1990 she joined forces with the badminton department of the neighboring club VfL Maschen to form SG Maschen-Hittfeld . By 1997 the 1st team rose to the regional league, the 2nd and 3rd teams played in the regional and regional leagues. In 2000 the first team was relegated to the league, but in the following years things went up again. In 2006 he was promoted to the 2nd Badminton Bundesliga and in 2008 he was runner-up.

In the adult class, 2 German runner-up titles , 10 North German championship titles , 9 North German runner-up titles , 35 Lower Saxony state championship titles, 63 district championship titles , 7 district championship titles, 2 German rankings wins, 21 Lower Saxony state rankings wins and 7 district rankings wins were won. The juniors won u. a. two North German championships and a German ranking victory. At the German Senior Championships , Kristine Anschütz and Stephan Burmeister achieved places among the top three in the O35 age group several times between 2006 and 2010.

Christine Wetzel was TSV Eintracht Hittfeld's figurehead in gymnastics in the mid-1980s. She was a participant in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and won several German championship titles in gymnastics.
