TSV Hagen 1860 (eV) is the largest and oldest sports club in Hagen . Over 24 different sports are practiced in the club. A course program is available for non-members, including a. with the support of the health insurance companies.

The sports on offer include: Aikido , Brazilian jiu-jitsu , badminton , basketball (women's and, since 2011, men's basketball again), fistball , fencing , women's gymnastics , recreational sports , football , handball , jiu-jitsu , judo , children’s gymnastics , kung -Fu , athletics , chess , swimming , squash , taekwondo , dance sports , tennis , table tennis , volleyball , hiking

Ralf Pinkvoss , a lawyer from Hagen, headed the association for 21 years . In 2014 Atila Tasli , also a lawyer from Hagen, took over the position of first chairman. Andreas Kurz (sport) and Maria Bürger (business) are at his side as deputies. Friedhelm Tenne was honorary chairman until his death in 2017 ; Ralf Pinkvoss has been Honorary Chairman since 2018.

The club's own facility, which has existed since 1975 and covers a good 55,000 m², has a soccer field, two beach courts, eight tennis courts, a gymnastics hall, two course rooms and a budo hall. The office of the association is looked after by full-time employees.

Every week, TSV Hagen 1860 offers over 150 sports activities for women and men of all ages, spread across the city and in the sports complex.

The fistball team around Dirk Schachtsiek in particular celebrated sporting successes . They became "World Cup winners" and combined many European and German championship titles in Halle and on the field.

Furthermore, the first women's basketball team played in the 2nd Bundesliga under the name "Phoenix Ladies" , in 2016 Phoenix Hagen parted ways with the women. You are now playing under the name of your home club again. All of the women's basketball youth teams made it to the German finals in 2008.

Athletic top athletes often began their careers at TSV Hagen in 1860 and then switched to other NRW athletics clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen or Wattenscheid.
