The TSV Schlutup 1907 e. V. is a soccer club from Lübeck-Schlutup . In addition to football , the club also offers handball , table tennis , bowling , shooting , swimming and folk dancing .

history

Predecessor clubs and history up to the ban

On September 21, 1907, a total of 33 people founded the Schlutuper Turnverein . In March 1912 the workers gymnastics and sports club Schlutup was founded in the restaurant "Zur Linde". The Schlutuper Sportverein was founded in 1920 as a pure football club . In the same year the women's and girls' departments were added. In 1921 there was a merger between the Schlutuper SV and the Schlutuper Turnverein . The sports field on Palinger Weg was bought in 1922. This is where the later Jahn Stadium was built. In 1924 and 1925, the sports field was expanded by the members. On April 14, 1924, there was a “ clean divorce ” between the soccer and gymnastics departments of Schlutuper TV; on August 27, 1927 there was a renewed merger. The club was now called Schlutuper Turn- und Sportverein from 1907 . In 1931 and 1932 the Jahnsportplatz on Palinger Weg was expanded. In 1932 the Gaume Championships were held with over 1000 gymnasts. The ATSV Schlutup, however, like all workers' sports clubs, was dissolved in 1933 by a decree of the National Socialists .

Post war history

In 1945/46 the Schlutuper Turn- und Sportverein von 1907 e. V. The former members of the ATSV Schlutup were also integrated. In the seasons 1947/48 and 1961/62 and between 1965 and 1974, the club's football division played in the Schleswig-Holstein amateur league, today's Schleswig-Holstein league , which began as a state league . In 1978 the Jahnsportplatz was floodlit.

In 1947, the Trave Boxring , the club's boxing relay, was founded, whose athletes were Schleswig-Holstein regional champions six times and district champions 40 times in the 1950s. The most successful boxer was Jürgen Voss , who was German champion twice. The Trave boxing ring merged with TSV Travemünde in 1959 to form BC 59 Travemünde .
