Taşkın İlter (according to some sources İlter Taşkın , born July 5, 1994 in Berlin ) is a German- born Azerbaijani football player . He also has Turkish citizenship.

Career

society

İlter was initially active in the youth field for various clubs in his hometown of Berlin, before he moved to the A-youth of Eintracht Braunschweig during the winter break of the 2012/13 season. For the 2013/14 season he moved up to the club's second team, which played in the Regionalliga Nord . For the 2015/16 season, İlter moved to regional division TSG Neustrelitz. After 23 appearances and one goal in the Regionalliga Nordost, he moved to Turkey for the second division team Denizlispor .

For the 2018/19 season, İlter moved to third division club Afjet Afyonspor and a year later to Sakaryaspor . He has been under contract with Eyüpspor since January 2020 .

National team

Already as a youth player for Türkiyemspor Berlin , İlter was discovered by the Azerbaijani association in a friendly match between his club and an Azerbaijani team for their U-19 national team. In November 2013 he was appointed to the senior national team of Azerbaijan , which Berti Vogts was in charge of , and made his debut in a friendly against Kyrgyzstan on November 19, 2013, without having played in professional football . In October 2014, İlter was called up to the senior national team again after a break of almost a year for the European Championship qualifiers of Azerbaijan against Italy and Croatia , but not used.
