Tadeusz Antoni Zwiefka (born December 28, 1954 in Tuchola ) is a Polish lawyer and politician. He belongs to the Platforma Obywatelska .

Life

Zwiefka finished his law studies in 1979 at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań . He then filled various functions, including editor-in-chief positions, at Telewizja Polska (TVP) public television .

Zwiefka has taught journalism and the Polish language at Poznan universities and high school for business management in his hometown of Tuchola . In addition to German, he also speaks English and Russian.

In the elections for the European Parliament in 2004 he was admitted on the list of Civic Platform European Parliament voted. He succeeded again in his constituency of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in the 2009 and 2014 European elections . In the European Parliament he is u. a. active as a full member of the Legal Committee (JURI) as well as the special committee against organized crime, corruption and money laundering , in the delegation in the committee for parliamentary cooperation EU-Moldova and in the delegation in the parliamentary assembly EURO-NEST . He is a deputy in the Committee on Constitutional Affairs and in the delegation in the committees for parliamentary cooperation between EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia.
