Diary literature
Diary literature is literature based on real or fictional diaries . The original form of the diary is the private diary. Alienated from this are diaries intended for publication. The instrumentalization of the fictional diary culminates in the diary novel , which is comparable to the letter novel because of its immediacy fiction .
