The Tagnone is a river in France that runs in the Haute-Corse department on the island of Corsica . It rises on the northeast flank of Punta Paglia (1528 m), in the municipality of Vezzani , generally drains east to south-east and flows after 35 kilometers just northwest of the town of Aléria as a right tributary into the Tavignano , which shortly afterwards reaches the Mediterranean .
