Taja Kramberger
Taja Kramberger (born September 11, 1970 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian historical anthropologist and poet .
Taja Kramberger studied at the University of Ljubljana and did her PhD in historical anthropology at the Primorska University in Koper , which was founded in 2003 and is currently also a lecturer. She had fellowships in Paris and Budapest. She has published several articles and chapters in books in her field. She is editor-in-chief of the multilingual magazine “Monitor ZSA - Review of Historical, Social and other Anthropologies. Monitor ZSA ". She works on the methodology of exploring collective memory based on the research of Maurice Halbwachs . Together with her husband Drago Braco Rotar, she translated the writings of Pierre Bourdieu and Loïc Wacquant . She and her students put together her research on the Dreyfus Affair and its anti-Semitic content in an exhibition and also addressed it with her poetic means.
Since 1997 she has published four volumes of poetry.
