Takashi Kitano ( Japanese 北野 貴 之 , Kitano, Takashi ; born October 4, 1982 in Sapporo ) is a Japanese football player (goalkeeper). Since the beginning of 2018 he has been playing for Gainare Tottori in the J3 League .

Career

Kitano changed in 2003 by the team of Sapporo University to Albirex Niigata . On May 23, 2004, he was used for the first time in a league game of the first team. In the 2006 season he replaced the previous goalkeeper Yosuke Nozawa and was number one in goal until the end of the 2009 season . In early 2010, league rival Ōmiya Ardija signed him . There he held - with a few interruptions - the regular place between the posts until April 2014 when he sustained a shoulder injury. He returned four months later, but left the club at the end of the season. As a result, he was without a club for half a year before he joined Cerezo Osaka in August 2015 , which was then playing in the J2 League . There he was not used as number three behind Kenta Tanno and Hiroyuki Takeda. In the 2016 season he came to the second team of Cerezo to some appearances in the J3 League . He left the club in early 2017 and joined Yokohama FC in the J2 League. As a substitute for Yōhei Takaoka , he usually sat on the bench and was not used. In early 2018 he moved to Gainare Tottori in the J3 League.
