Career

Nozawa joined the club's first team from the youth of Shimizu S-Pulse in 1998 . In early 2000 he moved to Albirex Niigata . With the beginning of the 2001 season he replaced Koichi Kidera as number one in goal. In the following years he acted as a regular goalkeeper and rose with the club at the end of the 2003 season in the J. League Division 1. In the second half of the 2004 season he temporarily lost his seat again to Kidera. In April 2006 he was replaced in goal by the previous number three, Takashi Kitano and was his deputy until the end of the 2008 season .

In early 2009 Nozawa left Albirex and moved to Shonan Bellmare , who played in the J. League Division 2. In the 2009 season he was number one there and rose with the club. In the 2010 season he first lost his place to Ryota Tsuzuki . At the end of the season he had to relegate his team again. In the 2011 season he was no longer used. In early 2012, league rival Matsumoto Yamaga FC signed him . At first he was a regular goalkeeper, but injured himself in August 2012 and had to vacate his place. As a result, he did not get beyond the role of substitute goalkeeper behind Yūto Shirai .

After three seasons, Nozawa left Matsumoto in early 2015 and moved to the Singapore branch of Albirex Niigata. There he won the championship in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Since the beginning of 2019 he has been playing again for Albirex Niigata in Japan.
