Takeshita Noboru (1989)

Takeshita Noboru ( Japanese 竹 下 登 ; born February 26, 1924 in Kakeya , Shimane Prefecture (today: Unnan ); † June 19, 2000 ) was a Japanese politician of the LDP . He was chairman of the ruling LDP party and from 1987 to 1989 the 74th Prime Minister of Japan .

Takeshita studied commerce at Waseda University .
