Talė Stankevičienė was a Lithuanian communist politician , mayor of Jonava , party functionary of the CPSU and LKP in Soviet Lithuania .

Life

From 1973 to 1977 Talė Stankevičienė headed the Lithuanian Jonava Rajon near Kaunas for four years . At that time she was the first secretary of the LKP committee. After a traffic accident, she was removed from office. Her successor was Edvardas Prichodskis , a teacher.

Talė Stankevičienė was a communist and a member of the Communist Party of Lithuania (LKP).
