Stasys Apanavičius

Stasys Apanavičius (born July 16, 1933 , † July 6, 1994 ) was a Lithuanian communist politician , mayor of Jonava , party functionary of CPSU and LKP in Soviet Lithuania .

Life

From 1966 to 1973 Stasys Apanavičius headed Jonava Rajon for seven years . At that time he was the first secretary of the LKP committee. Then he was transferred to Alytus . In Alytus district he also worked as the first secretary of the LKP committee.

Apanavičius was a communist and a member of the Communist Party of Lithuania (LKP). He had duties in the party's administrative apparatus. Apanavičius headed a department for administrative organs of the Central Committee of the LKP.

Stasys Apanavičius was married to Genė Zablackaitė (1940-2002). They had five children.
