Egidijus Sinkevičius

Egidijus Sinkevičius (born April 30, 1956 in Jonava , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician , mayor (2000-2003) and deputy mayor (from 1990) of the Jonava district .

Life

In 1979 Sinkevičius graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Vilnius University in Vilnius with a degree in economics .

From 1990 he was deputy mayor for economy . From 2000 to 2015 he was a member of the council of the Jonava Rajonggemeinde , from 2000 to 2003 he was mayor of Jonava . From 2003 he worked as the manager of the Jonava branch of AB “ Ūkio bankas ” and as a teacher at the Jeronimas Ralys middle school in Jonava. From 2005 the director of UAB "Sūručio sanatorija", then owner of E. Sinkevičius, deputy director of economy in the energy company AB "Jonavos šilumos tinklai".

From 1995 Sinkevičius was a member of Lietuvos centro sąjunga and from 2002 to 2012 of Liberalų ir centro sąjunga .

From 1999 to 2000 he was president of FC Lietava .

He will take part in the 2019 local elections in Lithuania . In 2018 he was a co-founder of the election committee Visuomeninis rinkimų komitetas "Su Sinkevičiumi ir Osausku" and was nominated as a candidate for mayor of the Jonava district .

Sinkevičius is divorced and has daughters Akvilė and Monika.
