Jonas Klemensas Sungaila
Jonas Klemensas Sungaila (born February 19, 1948 in Kulva , Jonava Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and municipal official, from 1997 to 2000 mayor of the Jonava Rajongemeinde Jonava.
Life
1967 graduated Sungaila the technical center for mechanization of agriculture in Smalininkai in Jurbarkas and 1981-1986 studied at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas . From 1972 he headed the kolkhoz in Liepiai and from 1980 to 1986 the kolkhoz Kulva . From 1986 to 1990 Sungaila was the deputy chairman of the Executive Committee of the People's Deputies of Jonava Rajon (deputy mayor). From 1990 to 1997 he was the director of the "Beržų kompleksas" farm. From 1997 to 2000 he was mayor of Jonava . Since 1997 he has been a member of the Jonava City Council. From 2011 to 2016 he worked as the administrative director of the Rajonggemeinde. In March 2016 he was arrested by the police while drunk as a driver of 1.65 per thousand . After that he was relieved of his office because of it.
Sungaila is president of the club of the veteran basketball team “Beržas”.
