The Taldyk Pass ( Kyrgyz Талдык ашуусу ) is a mountain pass in the east of the Alai Mountains in Kyrgyzstan .
The pass is located at an altitude of 3615 m . An important Central Asian connection route, the so-called Pamir-Hochstraße ( Russian Pamirsky Trakt ), runs over it from Osh in the Fergana Valley via Sarytasch in the Alai Valley to Chorugh in Tajikistan . The road here runs parallel to the Chinese border located about 50 km to the east in a north-south direction.
