The Wolfersgrün dam is a small dam near the Kirchberg district of Wolfersgrün, south of Zwickau in Saxony .

It was built from 1951 to 1954 to supply the Zwickau area with drinking water and was actually intended as a pre- dam for a larger dam that was never built. After the withdrawal of drinking water was stopped in 1998, it still serves to a minor extent for flood protection .

The barrier structure is an earth embankment with a core seal made of clay .

The dammed waters are the Crinitzer Wasser and the Hirschfelder Wasser.
