Tammy Ogston

Tammy Ogston (born July 26, 1970 in Brisbane ) is an Australian football referee .

Ogston has been whistling games in women's football for the world association FIFA since 1997 . At the 2003 World Cup in the USA , it was used a total of four times; among other things, she directed the game for 3rd place between the USA and Canada .

Ogston also played four times at the 2007 World Cup in China . She whistled three games for the German team (against Argentina , North Korea and Brazil ). The final game against the Brazilians on September 30, 2007 in Shanghai was the high point in Ogston's career so far. She was the first female referee to lead both the opening game and the final at a World Cup.
