Tan Çağlar
Tan Çağlar (* 1980 in Hildesheim ) is a German-Turkish comedian , wheelchair basketball player and a model .
Life
Çağlar was born with spina bifida , but was initially not severely affected. He worked as a commercial clerk at an advertising agency.
Çağlar played basketball at Eintracht Hildesheim for several years . After his health deteriorated, he suffered from depression and retired into private life for about two years.
He has been playing wheelchair basketball since 2005. For six years he played at Hannover United ; temporarily in the Bundesliga. In 2014 he switched to Baskets 96 Rahden . After his work as a comedian had come to the fore, he switched to the second team of the Baskets. He discovered his comedic talent as a coach and motivational speaker. He has been in this position since 2012.
Tan Çağlar also works as a model; In 2016 he was engaged for the Berlin Fashion Week .
He had a role in the series Berlin - Day & Night and guest appearances on the Bülent Ceylan Show as well as with the PS professionals . On February 17, 2018 he was a talk guest at Raul Krauthausen .
In the summer of 2019 his autobiographical book Rollt bei mir! This is also the title of his first comedy program, with which he has been touring since 2017. Tan Çağlar won the Stuttgart broom and was one of the finalists at the Prix Pantheon .
