Tanaboon Kesarat ( Thai : ธน บูรณ์ เกษา รัตน์ , born September 21, 1993 , Samut Prakan ), also called Tum ( Thai : ตั้ ม ), is a Thai soccer player who is currently under contract with Port FC in the Thai League .
Career
society
Tanaboom learned to play football at the Bangkok Sports School. He signed his first contract with the then second division Bangkok FC . After a year Tanaboon switched to BEC Tero Sasana . The first year he was awarded to the third division for RBAC FC. In 2013 he returned and became an important part of the team. In 2014 he won the Thai League Cup with the BEC. On January 27, 2016, it was announced that Tanaboon, along with his BEC Tero teammates Peerapat Notchaiya and Chanathip Songkrasin , would be loaned to Muangthong United for the 2016 season. In June 2016 he was permanently signed by Muangthong. On November 2, 2016, Chiangrai United officially announced that Tanaboom had signed a deal with league rivals. The transfer fee was not disclosed, but it was estimated at around 50 million baht. Tanaboon has become the most expensive Thai player and broke the record of Theerathon Bunmathan , who moved from Buriram United to Muangthong United in May 2016 with a transfer fee of 35 million baht . For the back series in 2018 he went to league competitor Bangkok Glass with whom he was relegated to the Thai League 2 at the end of the 2018 season. He has been under contract with the first division club Port FC since July 2019 . In the same year he was with Port in the final of the FA Cup that Port won 1-0 against the first division club Ratchaburi Mitr Phol from Ratchaburi .
National team
From 2011 to 2012 he played 11 times in the Thai U19 national team and scored 2 goals. From 2013 to 2016 he played 21 times for the Thai U23 national team , scoring one goal. Since 2013 he has been an integral part of the Thai national team , for which he has appeared 47 times so far.
