Targówek is a district in the northern part of the Polish capital Warsaw . Targówek consists of two main sub-areas, an industrial area and an area with predominantly residential buildings. 30% of the area is taken up by gardens and parks, such as Lasek Bródnowski, Park Bródnowski and Park Wiecha in the eastern part of the city district. Between 1994 and 2002 Targówek was an independent municipality.

Targówek borders in the west with Praga-Północ , Białołęka in the north, in the east with Rembertów , Ząbki and Marki , in the south with Praga-Południe .

There is a beautiful half-timbered church with wooden infills at the Brodnowski cemetery .
