Tasha Reign (born January 15, 1989 in California as Rachel Swimmer ) is an American porn actress , producer and columnist . She also appeared as a nude model for Playboy and Penthouse .
Life
Career start
Reign, like Jesse Jane and Tory Lane, is a former Hooters girl. She started her career as a professional stripper in 2008 when she performed in a club called "Silver Reign", from which she derived her stage name. In addition to her career in front of the camera, she is enrolled as a student in women's studies at UCLA .
Modeling and films
While a student at UCLA , Reign was cast by Playboy magazine for the 2010 issue of Girls of the Pac-10. While on vacation in Monaco in May 2012 with colleague Brooklyn Lee , Reign met former US President Bill Clinton . A photo with the two porn actresses and Clinton found wide circulation on the Internet. Reign explained to the photo that she was a big fan of Clinton and not the other way around.
Reign appeared in the film documentary "Twilight of the Porn Stars" directed by Louis Theroux for the BBC . Reign told UK Sunday Sport that the documentary paints a negative picture of the industry she loves. She was invited to the Forum Porn, Prostitution, and Censorship: The Politics of Empowerment at UCLA in February 2014 , along with Jessica Drake and Adella Curry, Professor Christopher Mott and Jennifer Moorman to discuss various academic views on pornography.

In May 2011, Reign was named Penthouse Pet of the Month. She was nominated as "Crossover Star of the Year" at the AVN Awards in 2013 and "Movie Entertainer of the Year" at the Exotic Dancer Awards. In 2014 she was nominated for the XBIZ Awards as "Female Performer of the Year".
