Tatjana Steinhauer (born April 23, 1991 in Herzberg am Harz ) is a former German national water polo player and two-time European Championship participant.

Athletic career

The left-hander, who grew up in Lehrte , first played as one of several girls for several years in a boys' team at Lehrter SV , then came to the Bundesliga club Hannoverscher SV via Hellas Hildesheim in 2006 . From 2011 to 2013 she played for the German record champions SV Blau-Weiß Bochum and ended her career there in 2013.

The first international assignment in a team of the German Swimming Association (DSV) took place at the age of 15 on July 21, 2006 in Hanover with the then U17 selection in a friendly match against France.
