Deutsch-Österreichisches Feingefühl ( DÖF ) was a project assigned to the Neue Deutsche Welle , consisting of Joesi Prokopetz , Manfred O. "Fredi" diving , Annette Humpe and Inga Humpe , which initially appeared under the name diving-Prokopetz .

history

Originally, DÖF 1983 was only the title of the LP for the diving-Prokopetz project, which in its entirety is more stylistically associated with cabaret than pop music . The single Codo… düse im Sauseschritt also appeared under the name diving-Prokopetz. The more concise word "DÖF" later became the project name. In the course of the great success of Codo , the cover of later editions of the single was provided with the addition DÖF.

The album of the same name DÖF was sold over 500,000 times in the German-speaking area. In addition to the songs, the LP also features a number of cabaret -like chunks of speech like Trude, die Teufelstaube or Lose, Lose, unemployed ... or dialogues in a pet shop . Like the songs, these are partly written in a mixture of High German and Viennese dialect . In 1983 the LP was released in Austria by Gig Records , later also on CD under the number GIG 660 116.

For the television program Wunderland (1983), DÖF produced the song The very best feeling ( Max and Moritz ) , which was also released on a record for the program.
