Te Kouma Harbor is a natural harbor on the Coromandel Peninsula on the North Island of New Zealand .

The Te Kouma Harbor is located on the west coast of the Coromandel Peninsula , just over 9 km southwest of Coromandel and 36 km north of the Thames . The natural harbor has a length of around 3.4 km and a maximum width of 1.12 km. The water, which is open to the west, has a 500 m wide port entrance and comes to a coastline of around 11.5 km. Rangipukea Island is just under a kilometer from the entrance to the natural harbor and protects the harbor from the rough seas.
