Alexander E. Fennon
Alexander E. Fennon (* 1961 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor .
Life
Alexander E. Fennon studied history and sociology at the University of Vienna , where in 1993 he became Dr. phil received his doctorate . Until 2015 he also worked as a freelance social and cultural scientist. From 2008 he received acting training, such as improvisation with Thomas Seiwald (2008 to 2013), bodywork from 2009 to 2011 with Christian Suchy and Norman Taylor, camera acting from 2011 with Jerry Coyle , method acting 2013 with Robert Castle and Meisner -Technik from 2015 with Steven Ditmyer.
From 2009 to 2012 he was at the Schubert Theater in the title role of Elling and Der Lechner Edi looks ins Paradies , in Astoria and Der Grüne Kakadu, and as Herr von Lips in the Nestroy posse Der Zerrissene . Since 2012 he has been involved in the productions of Drama, Baby! Involved in the Drachengasse theater . There he embodied seriousness in Let's Get It On! A screwball sex comedy , Allen in Dance, Baby and Eduard Fuchst the night before the wedding. A piece of wit and madness . Alexander E. Fennon is a founding member of the peekaboo improvisation theater.
In front of the camera he played a. a. with Hellen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds ( The Woman in Gold ) and with Jessica Chastain directed by John Madden ( An Open Account ). The collaboration with Mara Mattuschka from 2012 onwards has so far resulted in three feature films, including Voices (2014), in which he played the double lead role of Alex / Alexander Gottfarb. In the film The Horse on the Balcony (2012) he played the villain Toni and in Schmidt's cat 2015 he played Markus Frehse. He has also appeared in a number of award-winning short films, including Spitzendeckchen (2012), The Burial of Harald Kramer (2013), The Outcasts (2014) and The Impossible Image (2016).
In 2018, two films in which he played a leading role came to the cinemas: the multiple award-winning Murer - Anatomy of a Process by Christian Frosch and Mara Mattuschkas Phaidros .
At Markus Hippmann's drama school in Vienna, he is a lecturer in role design, scenic play and camera acting.
From 2011 to 2014 he headed the music project Jura Swing , with which he brought theater songs and poems by Jura Soyfer to the stage in his own setting. In 2014 and 2015 he directed the First Choir of the Academy of Austrian Films .
