Teahna Daniels (born March 25, 1997 in Orlando ) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Teahna Daniels gained her first international experience in 2014 at the Junior World Championships in Eugene , where she won the gold medal in the US 4 x 100 meter relay in 43.46 seconds. The following year she won the bronze medal over 100 meters at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton in 11.54 s and won the relay in 43.79 s. In 2019 she won the U23 NACAC Championships in Santiago de Querétaro in 11.03 s and also qualified for the World Championships in Doha , where she finished seventh in the final with 11.19 s . In the relay competition , the Americans ran 42.10 s and won the bronze medal behind Jamaica and the United Kingdom.

In 2019 Daniels became the US 100-meter champion. She is a student at the University of Texas at Austin .
