Tebogo Mamathu (born May 27, 1995 ) is a South African sprinter .

Athletic career

Tebogo Mamathu gained her first international experience at the 2013 Junior African Championships in Bambous , where she won the gold medal in the 100-meter run in 11.98 seconds and the silver medal in the South African 4-by-100-meter relay in 47.56 seconds . The following year she reached the semi-finals over 100 meters at the Junior World Championships in Eugen , where she was eliminated in the semi-finals with 12.12 seconds. In addition, she could not qualify for the final with the season. In 2016 she won the relay in 43.66 s at the African Championships in Durban , while she finished seventh in the individual competition in 11.54 s. Two years later she was sixth in the African Championships in Asaba in 11.73 s. At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , she was unable to finish the race with the 4 x 100 meter relay in the lead. In August she finished sixth at the African Games in Rabat in 11.65 s and won the silver medal behind Nigeria in 44.61 s with the relay.

In 2019 Mamathu won the gold medal in the 100-meter run at the South African Athletics Championships .
