Ted Duncan

Frederick "Ted" Cuncan (born November 18, 1912 in New York , New York , USA ; † August 22, 1963 in Miami , Florida , USA) was an American racing car driver.

Career

Duncan was a successful sprint car racer who tried in vain to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 mile race in 1949 and 1950 . Between 1948 and 1950 he started in five races for the AAA National Series . His best result was a fourth place in 1948 in Milwaukee .

He died of a heart attack in 1963 at the age of 50.
