The phone numbers in Tuvalu are assigned and organized by the Ministry of Communication, Transport and Fisheries . The legal basis is the Telephone Regulations Act of 1994.
The state-owned Tuvalu Telecommunications Corporation (TTC) is the only provider of telephone services in the Pacific island nation .
Dialing a Tuvaluan number from abroad is done as follows:
- International prefix + 688 ( country code ) + area code + phone number .
Dialing within the country can always be made as follows: area code + telephone number . The telephone number always consists of three digits.
