history

Performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival , 2014

The band originally formed in mid-2012 as a home studio project. Bagshaw and Warmsley had known each other for a long time as part of rival youth gangs in their hometown of Kettering. The duo later played in the Northampton band The Moons and The Lightning Seeds . Bagshaw and Warmsley posted four self-produced tracks on YouTube that caught the attention of Jeff Barrett, founder of the Heavenly Records record label. With him they released the debut single Shelter Song in November 2012. The band initially played at major music festivals in Great Britain and Europe. In October 2013 she toured the UK and toured Europe, North America and Australia in 2014. First appearances on US television took place in 2014 on the late-night show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Ellen DeGeneres Show . In 2015 the band released two new songs live and confirmed that they are working on a new album.
