Teodoro Lonfernini (politician, 1976)

Teodoro Lonfernini (born May 12, 1976 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino . Together with Denise Bronzetti, he was elected Capitano Reggente (Head of State) of San Marino for the term of office from October 1, 2012 to April 1, 2013 . He has been Minister of Tourism since April 2013.

In 1995 he graduated with a degree in geometry. He studied law and worked in his parents' notarial office. In 2002 he joined the local association Borgo Maggiore of the Christian Democratic PDCS and in the same year became a member of the central council of the party. In 2008 he was elected to the board of the PDCS and in November 2010 he was elected president of the party. from 2007 to 2010 Lonfernini headed the party newspaper Il San Marino .

Since the 2008 election he has been a member of the San Marinese parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale . He was a member of the Foreign, Home and Budget Committee as well as a member of the interparliamentary commission. On September 17, 2012 he was elected together with Denise Bronzetti of the Consiglio Grande e Generale for the period from October 1, 2012 to April 1, 2013 as Capitano Reggente, the head of state of San Marino.

In the elections of November 11, 2012, Lonfernini was re-elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale. On April 8, 2013 he became Minister of Tourism (Segreterio di Stato per il Turismo ei Rapporti con l'AASS); for him Mariella Mularoni moved up in the Consiglio Grande e Generale. In the 2016 parliamentary elections, he was re-elected to the PDCS list. He is a member of the Interior Committee and a member of the San Marino delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union .

Teodoro Lonfernini lives in Serravalle , is married and has three children.
