reception

Teresa Bücker is one of the well-known faces of the German internet scene, her contributions regularly achieve high circulation figures. Especially since she switched to Edition F, Bücker has also been increasingly perceived as a feminist of the current generation and speaks regularly at conferences and on television talk shows. Many of her articles in the online magazine deal with the tension between the current challenges of feminism , social developments in general and motherhood. After the sexual assaults on New Year's Eve 2015/16 in Cologne , she and fellow campaigners initiated the “#exceptional” campaign against sexualised violence and racism. With the call, according to the Friday, “Feminists are fighting against the appropriation of the events in Cologne by right-wing populists”.

Awards

  • Together with the founders of Edition F, Nora-Vanessa Wohlert and Susann Hoffmann, Bücker was named “Journalist of the Year” in the “Entrepreneur” category by Medium Magazin in 2017 .
