Tereza Martincová (born October 24, 1994 in Prague ) is a Czech tennis player .

Career

Martincová mainly plays on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won three tournaments so far. On the WTA Tour she qualified for a main field for the first time at the Nuremberg Insurance Cup 2013 ; there she lost in round one to the Spaniard Estrella Cabeza Candela . In the same year she succeeded in another main field participation in the Baku Cup as well as in 2014 at the Nuremberg Insurance Cup , in Båstad and at the WTA tournament in Québec , where Martincová was clearly defeated by Shelby Rogers in the opening round .

She achieved her best world ranking in July 2017 with 114th place, in doubles she was ranked 343th in December 2014.

On June 1, 2019, she won the ITF tournament in Essen. In the final she defeated Paula Badosa Gibert 6: 2, 7: 6 ⁴ .
