List of territorial changes in Saxony in 2015

The list of territorial changes in Saxony 2015 contains changes to municipal areas of the Free State of Saxony in the period from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015. These include, among other things, mergers and separations of municipalities, incorporation of municipalities into another, changes in the municipality name and Reclassifications from parts of one municipality to another.

In Saxony there were seven changes to the municipal area in 2015, including two incorporations, two reclassifications and three name changes of municipalities. In six of the seven cases, the municipality still exists after the change , the others were dissolved through subsequent changes of area.

  • District : District of the municipality after the change of area
