List of territorial changes in Saxony 2007

The list of territorial changes in Saxony 2007 contains changes to municipal areas of the Free State of Saxony in the period from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007. These include, among other things, mergers and separations of municipalities, incorporations of municipalities into another, changes in the municipality name and Reclassifications from parts of one municipality to another.

In Saxony there were 14 changes to the municipal area in 2007, including seven incorporations, three name changes, three reclassifications and a merger of municipalities. Of the communities that emerged, 13 still exist today, the others were dissolved due to subsequent changes in area.

The sorting is done chronologically: date, independent cities, rural districts, receiving or newly formed municipality. Communities that still exist today are highlighted in color.
