List of territorial changes in Saxony 2011

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of territorial changes in Saxony 2011 contains changes to municipal areas of the Free State of Saxony in the period from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011. These include, among other things, mergers and separations of municipalities, integration of municipalities into another, changes in the municipality name and Reclassifications from parts of one municipality to another.

In Saxony there were 11 changes to the municipal area in 2011, six of which were incorporated, two were newly formed and three municipalities were merged. All of the churches that emerged back then still exist today. A special feature is the division of the community of Großbothen into the cities of Colditz and Grimma . From a legal point of view, the entire community of Großbothen was first incorporated into Grimma, then four of the nine districts were reclassified into the city of Colditz.

  • Municipality before the change : Municipality before the area change
