from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of territorial changes in Saxony 2005 contains changes to municipal areas of the Free State of Saxony in the period from January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005 Reclassifications from parts of one municipality to another.

In Saxony there were 13 changes to the municipal area in 2005, four of which were incorporated, six were reclassified and three municipality names were changed. Eleven of the resulting communities still exist today, the others were dissolved through subsequent changes in area. A special feature is the division of the municipality of Knappensee into the municipalities of Lohsa and Königswartha . From a legal point of view, this was first dissolved and the districts then divided between the receiving municipalities.

  • Municipality before the change : Municipality before the area change
