Terrence O'Hara

Terrence O'Hara is an American television director and former actor .

Life

Terrence O'Hara began his acting career in smaller roles in the late 1970s. Until 1982 he had guest roles in Ryan's Hope , Mrs. Columbo , The Greatest American Hero and The Time Travelers . This was followed by major roles in Mad End (1985) and Force Commando (1986) before he quit acting. With Darkroom he directed his first and so far only feature film in 1989, before he switched completely to television in the early 1990s with the television film Die Alptraumbraut .

Since then, O'Hara has directed over 45 different television series . In the 1990s, these include Palm Beach Duo , Renegade - Merciless Hunting , Pacific Blue - Die Strandpolizei , Dr. Quinn - Passionate Doctor , Pretender and Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager . In the 2000s, he mainly worked on the series JAG - In Order of Honor , Dark Angel , The X-Files - The FBI's Scary Cases , Third Watch - Operation at the Limit , Angel - Dark Hunters , CSI: Vegas , Smallville , The Shield - Law of Violence , The Unit - A Matter of Honor and Sons of Anarchy . Most recently he directed episodes for Navy CIS , Navy CIS: LA , Dollhouse , Rizzoli & Isles and Grimm .

Terrence O'Hara has been married to the former actress Shanna Reed since 1986 and has a son with her (* 1992).
