Terry Lester

Terry Lester (born April 13, 1950 in Indianapolis , Indiana , USA ; † November 28, 2003 ) was an American actor.

Life & Career

He made his film debut in 1974 in Airport '75 - Giants in the Sky . He had his greatest success in the soap opera Shadow of Passion , where he played the role of Jack Abbott from 1980 to 1989. From 1989 to 1990 he played the Mason Capwell in the California Clan . Lester also appeared in numerous television series, such as Hotel , Walker, Texas Ranger , Dallas , or Diagnosis: Murder .

Terry Lester died of sudden heart failure in 2003.

Awards

Terry Lester was nominated four times (1984, 1985, 1986, 1987) for an Emmy and twice (1986, 1988) for the Soap Opera Digest Award for his role in Shadow of Passion .
