Tessa Tennant
Tessa Tennant ( May 29, 1959 in Bletchingley , Surrey - July 7, 2018 ) was a British banker and environmental activist . She was a member of the executive board of the Green Investment Bank .
Life
Tennant was married to Bill Staempfli, a New York architect, for the second time in 2007. She died of cancer in July 2018.
Act
Tennant created the UK's first green mutual fund, the Merlin Fund, later known as the Jupiter Fund . She helped found the UNEP Finance Initiative and founded the Carbon Disclosure Project , which prompted thousands of companies to disclose their greenhouse gas emissions.
